Heartline transmission // Blackwire City
Your crew is the defense.
A story-driven cyberpunk tower defense where Redlining always has a cost—and every recruit chooses to join.
Garage Chief // Doc
Street Captain // Gunner
Mission profile // What makes it different
Every defense puts people on the line. Position your fighters, move your vehicles and command the battlefield from Boss's console.
01
Deploy the Chrome Hearts directly. Every fighter brings her own class, weapon, ultimate and reason to stay.
02
Reposition bikes and pickups while the fight is live. Intercept a push, reinforce a route or pull back before it is too late.
03
Spend RAM to disrupt vehicles, slow waves and break defenses—but every hack raises Signal Heat.
04
When a fighter asks for permission to disable her limits, the answer is yours. The Sync Load is hers.
In-game pixel units // Development assets
Fighters, vehicles and enemies are already moving through the current build.

Crew files // Selected operatives
The Chrome Hearts are not pieces on a board. They are adults with histories, limits, loyalties and relationships that continue between missions.
Garage Chief // Doc
“Nobody breaks down on my watch.”
Heartline's mechanic, field repair specialist and the one who keeps the family moving.
Street Captain // Gunner
“Hold the line? I am the line.”
Born in the Chrome District. Fast with every firearm—and faster to stand between trouble and her people.
Overwatch Lead // Sniper
“One is enough.”
An ex-police marksman who trusts a verified target more than any badge or automatic order.
Sync Load // Limits disengaged
Redlining disables an augmentation's safety limits for a decisive burst of speed, force, accuracy or repair power. It can save the district. It can also leave permanent damage.
Blackwire City // Lower levels
In the Chrome District, garages, salvage yards and contraband routes keep entire blocks alive. Heartline Motorworks is a legitimate shop by day—and the Chrome Hearts' home after dark.
Rival gangs want the roads. Everhaven wants the infrastructure. And on the worst nights, something answers from the Wire.
“If it has a heart, we can make it run.” — Elias “Eli” Kade
The streets are part of the fight
Defenses unfold across fixed paths and contested intersections. Your crew covers the angles while the Pit Crew moves to intercept whatever breaks through.
Random search // Locked during early campaign
The Relay // Contact, not ownership
The Relay decrypts the dossier of an adult mercenary who has chosen to be contacted. She reviews the contract, fights beside the Chrome Hearts and decides for herself whether to stay.
Transmission continues
Blackwire Defense is in development for PC, with Windows first and a free release planned on itch.io. Community channels are not online yet.
